The American lawn is a tradition we all have grown accustomed to since childhood. Because Southern California drought regulations are here to stay, it does not mean we have to give up our lush, beautiful lawns. The best lawn substitute, without question, is synthetic turfgrass.
The latest technology in artificial lawns feature cooler, longer blade blends (2”) with a natural thatch layer. The lawn not only looks real, but feels real.
The new artificial blades are engineered with heat reflective color pigments and advanced U.V. inhibitors that reduce surface temperatures. Since all my residential designs feature the 2” tall fescues with natural thatch layer, the artificial lawn areas are soft, cool, and allow bare feet during the summer months without discomfort.
The concept of having to wash off synthetic turfgrass with water "all the time" is false. The new taller artificial fescues simply need a weekly sweep with an electric blower to remove debris.
The latest offerings of residential tall fescue synthetic lawn are very low-maintenance, require no watering or mowing, and add a beautiful, all-year-round look without the aid of insecticides, weed killers or other harsh chemicals. The artificial grass is completely lead-free, which ensures the safety of children and pets, as well as the environment.
In conclusion, the improved, cooler synthetic turfgrass is, by far, the best lawn substitute in keeping with the tradition of the American lawn.

a garden of beautiful flowers
where I can walk undisturbed.”
